Miss Ashley’s Class Learns Stop-Motion

Last week, with the help of a generous grant, Miss Ashley’s class participated in a research study for an up-and-coming program at Betty Brinn Children’s Museum. In the program, Be a Maker: Animator, the students first designed animation reels for a zoetrope and watched them come to life. They then got the opportunity to make some incredible stop-motion videos using bottle caps. Our animation teachers even commented on how impressed they were with the way the children planned out their ideas and used trial-and-error to make some top-notch animations!
Below is a fun video the students created with the skills learned in the workshop.
