Student Art Work Featured at MLK Celebration

Some of our students’ artwork were recently featured at the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr’s breakfast this past Monday at the Italian Community Center. This event drew hundreds of community & business leaders, activists and elected officials across the state. All with the common goal of celebrating one of the most important voices during the civil rights movement.
For this project, our students were asked what sort of social change they would like to see in the world. They were given the prompt, “I can dream like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and my dream is…”
