Visiting Downtown Montessori Academy
Our Parent Group Tour is held in the evening after school. We ask that parents not bring their child to the group tour. If accepted, your child will then have the opportunity to see and visit the school before making a final decision.
At the school visit, the Principal and Admissions Coordinator will be available to meet with parents and share an overview of the fundamental principles of the Montessori method as well as the philosophy of Downtown Montessori Academy. While touring the school, you will also have the opportunity to meet our Montessori Guides and view our classrooms and materials.
*Our Group Tour has concluded for the year. However, we have just added a few dates in February for a short, school day visit if you were unable to attend in January. We are excited to offer you the opportunity to visit the school during normal school hours. Keep in mind that lead teachers will not be available to meet with because they will be teaching. For these tours, we are asking that parents do not bring their child.
To keep the amount of disruptions to our classrooms to a minimum, we have a limited amount of spots available for our school day tours. If these dates do not work for you, we still encourage you to submit an application. If your child is accepted, you will then have the opportunity to come in and view the school before making a final decision.
